Birthday Card for a Friend

Happy Easter everyone! Unfortunately I don’t have an Easter card for you. Easter just comes to quickly for me every year. I barely managed to bake all the cookies that I planned. 🙂 In this post I am sharing a spring birthday card.

I took 5”x 7” watercolor piece and I stamped first flower in the middle. I stamped it with clear sticky ink and I heat embossed it in white. Next I made a mask for it. I stamped it on a post it note and fussy cut it. Then I placed it over my heat embossed flowers and I stamped the other two flowers.  To make my wreath I took stem stamp curved it and placed it on acrylic block. Now when I was curved it I was able to stamp circle that connects my flowers. I also took two circle stamps and I stamp them all over the stem. They represent leaves. I sprinkled everything with white embossing powder and heat set it with my heat gun.

I colored everything with distress inks. For the flowers I used Spiced Marmalade and Peacock Feathers, for the wreath I used Pealed Paint and for the background I used Antique Linen. When I finish coloring I made few splashes with silver and green paint. When everything was dry I trimmed the paper with paper trimmer and straight Pretty Pink Posh border.

I stamped my sentiment from few stamps from the W&W set. I used clear sticky ink and silver embossing powder. I colored the background of my sentiment with Peacock Feathers distress ink. I have put a foam square on the back of my sentient strip, just in the middle. And on the edges I have put some liquid glue. I adhered it just bellow the flowers. For some shine I glued few PPP clear sparkling sequins and few iridescent ones. I adhered everything on a peach card base.

I hope you will like it,

happy crafting! 🙂
