SSS Wednesday Challenge: Cute Sheep Christmas Card

Hello, Christmas is a month away and it is time for Christmas cards! 🙂 This one I made for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. The theme for this week is Christmas Critters. If you also want to participate click on the image bellow.

And here is my card:

First I started by stamping different holiday images from the Mama Elephant on a craft card stock. I stamp them with clear sticky ink and heat embossed them in weathered white embossing powder from Ranger. Next, I die cut scalloped circle from watercolor card stock using Pretty Pink Posh die. I just used the inner piece that I cut in half. On it, I stamped one of the cute sheep from the Mama Elephant. I cut a mask for it from post it and adhered it on a stamped image. Then I took blue distress inks and blended them around the sheep to make night sky. After that, I removed the mask and color one part of the image with Zig markers and the other part with Snow Marker. I heat set the sheep with my heat gun and that finishes the coloring.

After that  die cut another scalloped frame but this time from gold glitter cardstock. On the back of the frame I adhered vellum circle and on top, I inserted my watercolor piece. I have put several star sequins on the cardstock and I adhered scalloped frame over them. I wanted discrete shaker under my sheep. For my sentiment, I cut out a thin strip of a red cardstock. On it, I stamped Sending Holiday Whishes that I made by partial stamping two Mama Elephant stamps. I stamped them with clear sticky ink and heat embossed them in white. I adhered in between the shaker piece and watercolor piece. For the final touch, I took red stickles and colored ribbon on the presents.

That is all for now.

Have a nice and crafty day! :*
