Hello, I know that Christmas has passed but I still have Christmas cards that haven’t managed to share. I am applying this card for Simon Says Stamp Flickr and Wednesday Challenge. The theme for both of them is “Anything Goes”. If you want to participate in the Flickr Challenge click here. And If you want to participate in the SSS Wednesday Challenge click on the image bellow.
Here is my card:
This card is very easy to make. I cut out watercolor paper to fit a standard card size. Next, I took a masking fluid and drew trees all over it. I let it dry completely. Then I smooshed different shades of green distress ink on a non-stick craft sheet. I sprayed water all over it and then dipped my watercolor paper piece in it. I dried it with my heat gun and repeat the process few times until I was satisfied with the result. I removed the masking fluid with my fingers and beautiful white trees popped out.
Next, I took scalloped border die from Simon and die cut the bottom part of the cardstock. I adhered fun foam on the back of it. For my card base, I used white cardstock but I adhered beige cardstock on top of it. Then I stamped sentiment from the Mama Elephant in the bottom left corner. For stamping, I used clear sticky ink and I heat embossed it in white. Next, I adhered watercolor piece on the card base. As a final decoration, I glued red heart near the sentiment and I covered it with red Stickles.
That is all for today, I’ll be back tomorrow with my last Christmas card.
