Cute Sheeps – Christmas Card For SSS Flickr an Wednesday Challenges

Hi, I am finally sharing my last Christmas card that I made a few weeks ago. I am applying my card for two challenges, Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge and Paru’s Card Making Challenges. The theme for both of these challenges is “Anything Goes”. If you want to participate in Flickr Challenge click here. And if you want to participate in Paru’s Card Making Challenges click on the image bellow.

And here is my card:

First I took SSS Stitched Circles die and die cut a circle from a watercolor paper. Next, I stamped cute sheeps from Mama Elephant stamp set with black ink. Then I painted masking fluid over them and I let them dry completely. After that, I colored the background with distress inks. I dried it with my heat gun and removed the masking fluid. I colored the skin of the sheep with Zig Clean Color markers and for the fur, I used Snow Marker. For the sentiment, I used “festive Holiday wishes” from the Mama Elephant. I stamped it with clear sticky ink and I heat embossed it with red embossing powder.

For the background of the watercolor circle, I cut out a larger circle from kraft cardstock. Around the top edge, I stamped gloves, socks, and sweaters. For stamping, I used clear sticky ink and I heat embossed it in white. I added shading on the stamped images with white colored pencil. For some accents, I added red Stickles. Around the edge of the circle, I drew stitching with a white gel pen. Next, I punched two circles, one on the left edge and one on the right edge of the kraft circle. I used them to tie a bow with red-white twine. Then I adhered a piece of fun foam on the back of the watercolor piece and I glued it on the bottom part of the kraft circle, a little bit over the edge. I trimmed the part that was over the edge so that the line can follow the line of the kraft circle. As a final decoration, I drew snow around the sheep with a white gel pen.

That is all from my 2016. Christmas cards. Have a nice weekend!
