Felt Roses Love Card – SSS Flickr and Wednesday Challenge

Hello everyone! I am back with another love card and it is for the same challenges as the last one. 🙂 Theme of the Simon Says Stamp Challenge is “Colors Of Love” and if you want to know more about it click on the image bellow:

If you want to participate in the Flickr Challenge click here. The theme is “Love is in the Air”.

And here is my card:

The card is very easy to make. I took three different colors of felt, put strips of painter’s tape on the back, and I die cut the roses out of them. Dies that I used are “Single Roses” from the Simon Says Stamp. I adhered them randomly all over the craft card base, trying to avoid the same colors of roses next to each other.

Next, I cut out a small rectangle from a vellum and stamped Sending big hugs sentiment from “Big Scripty Greetings” from SSS. For stamping, I used clear sticky ink and I also went over the edges with it to get a nice border. I heat embossed everything with gold embossing powder. After that, I placed my vellum piece on the top of the cardstock and punched two holes with the needle. Next, I threaded a gold twine through them and tied a bow. For the final touch, I adhered a few gold and clear sequins.

Hope you will like it, see you again in a few days.
